The Molly Malone statue is located in Suffolk Street just off Grafton Street. Molly Malone was a legendary Dublin figure who was commemorated in the song ‘Cockles and Mussels’, a well know Dublin anthem.  The statue was created by the brilliant artist Jeanne Rynhart and has become one of Dublin’s most popular tourist attractions.

Her ghost wheels her barrow

Through streets broad and narrow

Crying cockles and mussels alive, alive o!
