The Bull Bridge, North Bull Wall and the beginning of Bull Island.

The wooden bridge, as it is known to most Dubliners is situated at the beginning of Bull Island.  Its real name is the Bull Bridge. The first Bull Bridge was erected in 1819 to facilitate the construction of the actual stone wall.   Construction of the wall started in 1820 and was completed around 1825.  The total length of the wall is approximately 3,200 yards.
